  • A wide variety of events take place each year for the All Taxa Biodiversity Inventory (ATBI).
    • Scientists are involved with projects using trained volunteers, including photographers, artists, teachers, and students.

  • Big Thicket Association coordinates scientific projects every year to further the Thicket of Diversity ATBI.
  • Every year scientists visit the Preserve to collect specimens using a variety of methods.
    • Often scientists request able volunteers to assist them in collecting specimens, recording data, working with them in the lab, and other important tasks.
