What is a Citizen Scientist?

  • Citizen Scientist are volunteers that help provide key support to the All Taxa Biodiversity (ATBI) effort.

  • "Citizen scientists" of all ages enjoy opportunities to learn, explore, make friends, and contribute to a unique and worthwhile endeavor.

  • They can perform a variety of functions from contributing to the scientific collection of data for one of the TWiGS, to helping provide support to a Bio Blitz, to such things as being a photographer or website designer.

  • Whatever your talents there are many ways to help out.

  • If you are interesting in volunteering, please do not hesitate to apply!

Volunteer Application

Please apply to become an ATBI volunteer.  It only takes a few minutes and it lets us know a little bit about who you are and how you would like to help.  You will also receive e-mail updates on the ATBI and notification of special events.
