What do Japanese climbing ferns, Chinese tallow, Mediterranean geckos, feral hogs, and fire ants have in common? They're all non-native species that have made themselves at home in southeast Texas, often at the expense of native species. Join us on a walk on the Kirby Nature Trail to learn more about invasive species in the Big Thicket and their impact on our native ecosystems. Meet at the trailhead with water, snacks, and good walking shoes. 1.7 miles.
